As a photographer, I don’t just snap pictures—I tell stories. And no two weddings are the same. One weekend I might be documenting a barefoot lakeside elopement in Hot Springs, and the next I’m capturing a formal ballroom wedding in downtown Fayetteville. Each couple brings their own personality and style, and I love the challenge of capturing that authentically.
That is why it is so important that you really know your wedding photographer, and that they know you! Why though? If it is just another wedding service why does it matter if your photographer wants to know your story? Because it is YOUR story that began long before your wedding day, but is also just beginning in so many ways.
Your wedding photographer is the one who is going to tell your story in detail of your florals, friends, family who was there, the dress you loved more than anything, how young your spouse and friends looked, or maybe how many years it took for you to find each other. When your photographer knows those details it is able to come through in trust of knowing your photographer holds your day in their hands. The right photographer knows the absolute honor it is to hold that responsibility!
