What to Expect || Lifestyle Newborn Arkansas Photographer

What is lifestyle newborn photography? This type of newborn session is usually done in your home, outdoors, or in a studio space. It is less posing of the newborn and more focused on natural poses you find yourself in everyday. You will not see a froggy pose, perfectly swaddled, themed backgrounds, or traditional portrait photography. That newborn session requires your photographer to be specially trained in that specific type of photography!

My preferred method is lifestyle. This means that the posing will be more natural movements, a lot snuggles, and let me show you what I mean!

For my newborn session I love to start off with the newest ‘team photo’ as everyone warms up for the session. After we get a these we move into photo with baby and mom, baby and dad, siblings, and then individual portraits of your sweet baby! This is when all of the details you never want to forget are captured, snack break for siblings, grab water, and then we come back together for the remaining time of the session.

For our remaining time we will take a few more full family photos, work in the lived in moments (think in your kitchen, playing puzzles with your other kiddos, swinging outside, and living normal life), and final photos.
