Osage house in Cave springs, ar what you need to know
In Cave Springs, Arkansas you will find one of the most stunning venues in northwest Arkansas. Osage house has two different venues available depending on what your wedding needs are. The Hall and Chapel as well as the Reserve are available for renting. In this blog I am going to explain which venue may fit your needs better, what to keep in mind when thinking through hour of coverage you will need for your wedding photographer and videographer, and overall flow.
I am going to start with The Hall and Chapel as a venue for your wedding day! What is The Hall? The Hall is a large 3 story building that will hold your reception, where you will get ready, a bridal suite, a groom suit, professional kitchen, large window, and easy to maneuver space. The main floor of the hall is where your reception will be held. You can expect a large dance floor, plenty of space for tables capes, the perfect ceiling center piece for a floral installation, and windows that are beautiful to see for photos. Before your reception gets going don’t forget about the shaded area that it has for cocktail hour. This shaded area is the place where your guests will want to be after your ceremony. With your bar ready to go, hors d'oeuvres placed throughout, yard games to be played, and conversations that never stop!
One thing to think about is the space you will be getting ready in. The bridal suite is set to go with 8 hair and make up stations, beautiful natural light, a changing area, and a living area to rest when you aren’t getting ready just yet. What about the boy? Trust me, they will be happy in the man cave groom’s suite with a pool table, shower, and large sitting area to hang out until it’s time to walk down the aisle.
Now, let’s talk about The Chapel. This is where you will be having your ceremony and it is completely stunning. Full floor to ceiling windows looking out into a beautiful forrest that gives the complete effect of the white space. This area is completely full of natural light that will complimentary to any color scheme. This space can do no wrong!
Here is one thing to consider when you start to book your photographer and videographer, and begin to wonder how many hours of coverage you would like to have. This venue is large, the distance between The Hall and Chapel is something to note. It does take a certain amount of time to be back and forth for photos, procession, waiting on family members, etc. So, when you go to book your photographer and videographer, I would book the higher hour package. Why? So that you have more time to present, aren’t stressed about a crunched timeline, and give yourself room to breathe!
Now, if you are wanting a more intimate wedding with a smaller guest list, I cannot recommend The Reserve more. This space provides the finishes, natural light, beautiful architecture that you see in The Hall + Chapel, but in a more intimate setting.
The ceremony space outside is perfectly nestled with evergreen tree behind you creating a new blank backdrop for your floral color scheme. It allows the natural light to be a key player, for florals to be as grand or minimal as you desire, and to protect the intimacy of your ceremony. This is the perfect place for your close family and friends to see you marry the love of your life.
Afterwards your family and friends can easily move to the reception area for cocktail hour to The Reserve outdoor and indoor space. With easy to open doors the space moves in and out with an easy pace that you are craving on your wedding day. As your reception starts the dance floor, table scapes, and decor can be as grand or minimal as you need. Why? Because the space allows it. The floor to ceiling windows speak for themselves in this space as you look over the rolling hills.
What about your getting ready space? Trust me on this, it’s just as good as you think it is. With natural light in just the right spots, four hair and make up chairs, fridge, sitting area, and changing area this space is exactly what you need. It is petty of space for you and your girls to get ready! The groom’s suite is no less amazing. It has a large sitting area, tv, mini fridge, and easy to around area.
So that is what you can expect from this one of a kind wedding venue in Cave Springs, Arkansas. As a local wedding photographer it is one of my favorite venues to work at. Not just because of the real beauty that comes through in the photos, but also because of the top notch staff that you will find here. This team is one who will truly care for you in every moment of your wedding day, and make sure your wedding day is what you want it to be.
If you’re here, there’s a good chance you’re not just looking for a beautiful place, but you’re looking for a day that actually feels like yours. The kind where you remember who you hugged, what it felt like to walk through those doors, and the quiet moments in between.
If that’s what you’re planning at Osage House, I’d love to photograph it in a way that lets you keep it.
