Faith & Will’s Wedding || Stone Chapel at Mattlane Farm Fayetteville, AR

If I could pick a wedding day to relive over and over again as a vendor, it would be this wedding. This was a wedding that reminded me that when you are invested in a couple, their story, their family, and making sure they are truly enjoying their wedding day that real magic happens. The moments are genuine, you can see the moment that the groom’s mom is about to tear up because you know how much she cares about her son. You see how the bride’s mom is taking in every moment because her daughter is moving away as soon as she gets married. Everyone is invested, and it shows.

When I met Faith and Will I had to no idea that I would be their wedding photographer. It was hot day on the Fayetteville, Arkansas square, I was walking back to my car after a photoshoot and noticed a young college couple dressed up and sitting on a bench together. I almost kept walking, but decided to ask if they wanted photos anyways. After they said yes we grabbed a few photos, exchanged emails, and I thought it would be a fun memory, but in October Will reached out to document their proposal and engagement photos.

Will, his mom, his mom’s friends, and others all came together to create a really special moment that genuinely surprised Faith! This was when I knew their love was deep, intentional, and a lot of people really loved them. Watching friends and family show up in a stream of hugs, flowers, and smiles was how that night started and ended.

Now at this point, I am INVESTED in this couple. I know their families, their siblings, friends, and even grandparents! So, when Faith texted me, “We are about to book a venue, but we wanted to know if you were available for the date before we do.” I was genuinely excited to be with this couple. After I learned it was going to be at the Stone Chapel at Mattlane Farms I was even more excited.

This venue is a local icon for good reason. The ivy that is one the front, the stone of the chapel, the space for cocktail hour, the indoor chapel, the outdoor ceremony space, and the staff are all top notch. Plus, it is an actual dream to photograph. Check out Faith’s bridal to see what I mean.

Now the big day is here. Faith and Will’s wedding at Stone Chapel at Mattlane Farm was a day I was personally really excited for! Our pre wedding meeting consisted of chatting through vendors, timelines, and what the big stressors of their day were so far. This helped me know how to come alongside them on their wedding day to see the stressors before they happen, know who needed to talk to who, where everyone needed to be, and make sure Will and Faith actually enjoyed their wedding day.

Their team of vendors was epic. From the venue staff, to Katherine Miller with Marry Me Miller wedding planning, the food from Jose’s, and Faith’s grandmother doing the florals it was the summer wedding of my year. When I think of what kind of weddings I want to photograph this is going to be the wedding that comes to mind.

Can you feel their love? Do you see their story happening right in front of you? That’s what I want to do for every couple looking for their wedding photographer. Tell your story, document the memories from my point of view, give you the classic and candid photos, and make sure your story is told how you want it. Are you ready?
